Library fun

Today I went to a library I've never been to before, the Science and Engineering library. Despite its best efforts to evade me I eventually tracked it down. I was there to get a book on TCP/IP for research for my note. It was a nostalgic moment, holding a computing book in my hands. What a nice change to carrying law books. I read it right away, and while computer textbooks used to bore me, having been lately so inured to legal texts, reading about TCP/IP now kind of tickled...

Cathy,
I stumbled upon your blog. It is very entertaining and educational. My brothers niece by his second marriage, is graduating highschool this spring 2005. She thinks she wants to be a lawyer. This young woman is very introverted, unconventional and borderline antisocial. I really don't find any redeeming good qualities about this young woman. Do you think she really has a shot at becoming an attorney? Or becoming successful at anything in business. The girl can't even carry her part of a conversation. I personally don't think she posesses the social skills to be successful at much anything.
