Heidi Bond has a list on her website, "How to publicize your law student blog." Perhaps she should add as item #5: "Take on the entire student government..."
It was sort of a bad time to tackle a major issue. When I look at all the things I need to get done this week and factor in a modicum of sleep, I realize that I'd need to live on a planet with a slower rotation in order to have enough hours to get them all done.
Oh well, one step at a time... (or start packing for Mars)

Actually, Mars' rotation is almost exactly like Earth's (1.03 days) - you might consider Mercury, which rotates every 58.65 days.

I did briefly consider Venus, actually, which also would be sort of fitting given today's date. According to http://www.zoomschool.com/subjects/astronomy/planets/ its days are 243 Earth days.
But Mars might be good enough. I only want a little extra time anyway. If the day got too long I'd just find more things to fill it up with and end up right back where I started.

Well, the earthquake in Asia worked against you too - apparently it was big enough to shrink the Earth's waistline enough to speed up the earth's rotation - about a second every million years, or something of that magnitude, but maybe just enough to feed your aggravation ;)

Plus, the earth spins faster in the winter when the leaves fall from the trees. That moves enough mass to create a measurable change. Really. I didn't make that up.
